Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Woking.

You will be responsible for the oversight and development of the Science Curriculum within the School as well as teaching classes.

The School is a mixed Special School for students aged 11 to 16 with EHCPs for Learning and Additional Needs, drawing students from a wide range of socio-economic groups and from a wide radius. They offer a mainstream secondary school curriculum model, with students following a timetable and moving rooms from lesson to lesson.

Their focus is very much on outcomes at 16, aiming to equip their students with the best they have the capacity to achieve and the social and emotional foundations for adulthood.

They offer a rich, creative, and personalised curriculum that meets individual needs, enabling students to fulfil their potential.

Qualifications

  • Candidate should possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
  • Experience in either a Primary School setting, specialising in Science, or as a Secondary School Science Teacher.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • QTS.
