Adele Carr Recruitment is working with a market-leading business based in Risley, Warrington to recruit for a Planning Coordinator on a full-time and permanent basis. My client are a training and consultancy provider who due to this business growth are seeking an experienced administrator to join the business in the planning team. We are searching for a candidate who can organise, coordinate and schedule as well as communicate effectively and manage their own workload.

Salary & Benefits:

  • £30,000-£36,000 per annum
  • 37.5 hours per week (9-5/8:30-4:30/8-4 etc.)
  • Potential for hybrid working, once trained

What will be expected of you:

The Planning Coordinator will play a critical role in coordinating and optimising resources. The role involves scheduling, planning, and organising various aspects of training and assessment activities to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Coordinate schedules for learner and construction skills coaches to ensure timely reviews and contact with learners.
  • Plan and schedule training sessions and assessments in accordance with awarding body requirements.
  • Generate reports on pending reviews and training schedules.
  • Organise events like apprentice assessment days and open days, ensuring resource availability.
  • Develop and assess course schedules to optimise cost-effectiveness for the business.
  • Maintain regular communication schedules for coaches and learners.
  • This description does not cover all responsibilities; the role holder is expected to be flexible and undertake additional duties within their scope and skill level.

What we are looking for:

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and similar software packages
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective administration skills.
  • Excellent time management and organisational abilities.
  • Wants to learn and get involved with other aspects of the business
  • Ability to "spin plates" and wear different hats to get the job done
  • DESIRABLE - Proven experience in an independent training environment or similar role.
  • DESIRABLE - Demonstrated experience in a Planning/Scheduling Coordinator role.
