  • Salary: £15.78 PAYE or £19.48 Umbrella
  • Job Type: Full-time, 37 hours per week Monday-Friday

My client are seeking a dedicated Neighbourhood Officer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out estate walkabouts, communal inspections, and managing various estate management duties. This role is pivotal in maintaining the standards of our neighbourhoods and ensuring that tenancy regulations are adhered to, including addressing Anti-Social Behaviour promptly.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Conduct estate walkabouts and communal inspections to maintain the cleanliness and safety of the neighbourhood.
  • Identify and address untidy gardens and other breaches of tenancy regulations in a timely manner.
  • Deal with Anti-Social Behaviour using appropriate support or enforcement interventions.
  • Manage void properties to ensure they are let as soon as possible, achieving key performance targets.
  • Identify customer vulnerability, including safeguarding concerns, and provide appropriate interventions and referrals.
  • Offer support and advice to new tenants through welcome visits, ensuring they understand their obligations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Effective communication skills with residents and colleagues.
  • Experience in social housing, estate management, tenancy management, or community safety-related work.
  • Understanding of community issues and current housing matters.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and bespoke IT systems.
  • Ability to use initiative and work to deadlines to achieve targets.
