About the role

CRU delivers huge value to our clients in an ever-changing world through data and analysis on the global metals, mining, and fertilizer industries. In CRU, the Product Improvement & Data Governance team is responsible for data governance, building and maintaining centrally managed models and processes, and developing the next generation of products to meet our clients needs.

A Typical Day

  • Extract, gather, analyse and interpret information, including both quantitative and qualitative from a range of sources.
  • Be part of a dynamic team that uses data and intelligence to collaborate and problem solve.
  • Proactively review and optimise data models and processes and reactively troubleshoot any issues the users of the data models encounter.
  • Test data models to ensure they meet business requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure timely and appropriate delivery of key information (reports and analyses).
  • Work with data from a range of sources to present information in a meaningful way-increasing organisational knowledge and enabling evidence-based decisions.
  • Participate in relevant meetings, providing advice and support where needed.
  • Learn and apply the latest data tools and techniques to ensure CRU data management is best in class.

You must have

  • GCSE English & Maths 4-9 (C-A*) or equivalent
