They specialise in high end electrical components, systems and connectors for a variety of industries which include; Rail, Aerospace, Automotive and Marine. The Role

Reporting to the Divisional Managing Director, the Commercial Manager will be responsible for leading a highly capable team of sales and customer management professionals to take full responsibility for the front-end commercial processes including Quotation, Sales Administration, Order enquiry and Order Acknowledgement. The Commercial Manager will champion the drive towards excellence in customer service, customer communications and positive consultative selling at all levels consistent with long term profit growth.

The Commercial Manager will define and deliver a robust strategy for improved sales, customer satisfaction, service and profitability while ensuring the management of ongoing customer relationships, their improvement and profitability across all sales streams; (Distributors, Direct customers, Resellers, Logistics Providers etc) both in the UK and Internationally.

The Person

With a proven background in manufacturing based commercial and sales leadership, this role requires a strategic thinker but with a hands-on mindset and a drive to exceed goals and commercial targets. A background / customer knowledge in safety critical products within Aerospace, Rail, Automotive or similar will be a huge advantage to the success of the individual in this role.

A desire to be customer facing a grow and develop a strong commercial team within the ever-growing organisation around it will be a must. This is a key role in the leadership team of a business poised for huge growth and in a highly profitable position, so it offers extensive career development opportunities and strong earning potential for the right person.
