You will work Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm, this will be fully onsite during probation, with flexible working afterwards, allowing 3 days onsite and 2 remote days.
Hays has partnered with a leading global speciality insurance broker distributing various products and services to provide innovative solutions and expertise, now looking to recruit a new member in the Group Finance and Internal Audit department.
Your new role
As a Junior Accounts Payable Assistant you will have varied responsibilities, for example:
- Dealing with ledger invoices and payments
- To ensure payments are made
- To get involved in data entry
- Dealing with queries as required
- Unallocated cash reconciliation and review
- To get involved in the reconciliation of accounts statements
- Allocation of payments against ledger transactions
- Cash receipt allocation
- Creating statements
What you'll need to succeed
- Attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
- Previous experience with MS Excel or accounting packages
- Previous experience in an admin or finance related role will be ideal
- A desire to pursue
