Job Description

We are representing a brilliant client who is seeking a dedicated and experienced Residential Care Home Team Leader. You will be joining their team in Walsall. This full-time role offers an hourly rate of £12.50 and the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of their residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Person-Centered Care Planning: Assist in devising and reviewing person-centered care plans. Liaise with families and professional agencies to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Team Communication: Provide support, guidance, and information to support workers, ensuring they have the necessary resources and knowledge.
  • Leadership: Guide and lead support workers to maintain and develop high standards of care.
  • Staff Rotas: Implement and manage staff rotas to ensure adequate staffing levels at all times.
  • Medication Management: Assist with the administration and accurate recording of medication.
  • Resident Relationships: Develop and maintain professional relationships with residents, aiding them in developing life skills and meeting their needs.
  • On-Call Participation: Participate in an on-call rota system, providing hands-on support as needed.
  • Shift Coverage: Cover shifts out of office hours and over weekends when required.
  • Direct Support: Spend 50% of your working time in the office supporting the service manager, and the remaining time on the floor supporting staff and clients.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Ideally, you will have experience working and leading a team in a supported living environment. However, guidance and support will be provided by our experienced manager.
  • Personal Care: Experience in providing personal care is essential.
  • Flexibility: This role requires flexibility in working hours and responsibilities.
