Position: Fundraising & Marketing Executive
Location: Newbury (RG14)
Salary: £26,000 per annum
Hours: Monday - Friday (09:00 - 17:30)
Benefits include: 33 days annual leave (including public holidays), enhanced pension contribution, health benefits upon confirmation and after completion of the first years' service, summer working hours and overseas travel to visit hubs

Thompson & Terry Recruitment are working with?an overseas aid charity based in Newbury thatoperate across the globe with the support of young volunteers from the UK.
Our client is looking for a confident, intelligent and friendly Fundraising & Marketing Executive to join their team and contribute to their mission. The position will involve working with young people from schools, colleges and universities across the UK to engage them in fundraising activities, providing support and collaboration in bringing fundraising ideas together and staying connected to those who have volunteered with the charity previously to encourage sustained fundraising activities.
Alongside the fundraising element of this role, the successful candidate will also be significantly involved with the day-to-day running of the charity's social media pages and have responsibility for pulling together content both internally and from volunteers to create blog content, newsletters and promotional materials to educate on the work that is being done as a result of charity donations.
This position would be well-suited to an ethically driven candidate who is looking to join a purposeful organisation where they can make a real difference and see the fruits of their work.

Requirements:??????
- Experience with elements of fundraising and marketing, whether that be through previous employment or education for example
- A passion for making a difference and the drive to engage others in a shared mission
- Exceptional organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at one time
- A confident and proactive candidate with the ability to think outside the box to come up withnew marketing and fundraising ideas
- Due to the content creation/copywriting side of tis role, exceptional spelling and grammar with high attention to detail?will be vital
