Opportunity to join an award-winning business that has built a reputation for outstanding security services, based on its collaborative and innovative approach, coupled with the utilisation of highly professional and experienced Security Officers. This is full-time, salaried position for a Security Support Officer, the candidate will receive a monthly salary and will be required to work across multiple locations, on varying shift patterns. A flexible approach will be required, and access to own vehicle is essential, although mileage will be paid.
Brief description of duties
- Applicant must hold valid SIA Door Supervision or Security Guarding licence.
- 3-day First Aid Qualification ideal but training will be provided.
- Driving licences and own vehicle is essential
- Flexibility with shifts as this role will include working days and nights, Mon - Sun, covering annual leave, sickness and other absences.
- Based on a full-time contract of equivalent to 42hrs a week, officer must be able to work at short notice and be willing to work irregular shift patterns.
- Contract will be based in 1848 hours over a one year period, candidate must complete these hours as and when required by the business. Additional hours will be paid at the hourly rate.
- Attend training and cover shifts for other Regional FSI contracts.
- Carry out patrols, supervise access, key and CCTV controls.
- To ensure all Security Incident/Loss/Accident Reports are completed before shift handover.
- To assess and report potential safety hazards so that remedial action may be taken.
- Excellent customer service skills, experience working in a corporate environment is highly desirable.
- Have a polite and professional attitude to internal and external customers.
- The ability to work independently or as a team.
- Must be computer literate.
- Excellent level of English both written and spoken.
- 1 year minimum experience in the security industry
- Front of house experience working highly desirable.
