A Legal Cashier is sought for an established law firm based in Sheffield City Centre.
You will join a cashiering team of 5 and a wider finance team of 10, in a role reporting into the finance manager.
All applicants must have prior experience in a legal cashiering role to be considered.
This is a full-time office-based role in Sheffield city centre with parking provided on site.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assist staff with accounts queries.
- Process daily all financial payments, receipts, and transfers.
- Perform day end balancing procedures.
- Process credit card payments.
- Making bank and cheque payments
- Reconciliation of petty cash payments
- Petty cash balancing - to incorporate identifying and rectifying errors.
- Deposit interest calculations
- Purchase Ledger - coding, input and cheque production.
- Process employees' expenses claims.
Salary: £27,000 - £29,000 + Benefits & Bonus
