Sponsorship Sales manager - Italian speaking

We are looking for a native/fluent speaking Italian sales manager for our client, they are a global leader in the events industry, renowned for organising some of the most influential and prestigious events worldwide. With a strong presence in the market, they are committed to delivering exceptional experiences that connect people and drive business growth.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sponsorship revenue for a portfolio of high-profile events, leveraging their language skills and sales expertise to build and maintain strong relationships with Italian-speaking clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sponsorship Sales: Identify, target, and secure new sponsorship opportunities with a focus on the Italian market.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain relationships with existing sponsors, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and engagement.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify potential sponsors and understand industry trends.
  • Proposal Development: Create compelling sponsorship proposals and presentations tailored to client needs.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate sponsorship packages and contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the events, marketing, and production teams to deliver value to sponsors.
  • Reporting: Monitor and report on sponsorship sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Travel: Travel to industry events, conferences, and client meetings as required.

Key Requirements

  • Language Skills: Native Italian and fluent English, both written and spoken.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sponsorship sales or a similar role, preferably within the events industry.
  • Sales Skills: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, with strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients at all levels.
  • Organisational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Market Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the Italian market and business culture.
