We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Health and Social Care Teacher to join our dynamic team at a prestigious educational institution in Cambridge. Day-to-day of the role:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in Health and Social Care to a diverse range of students.
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to enhance student learning.
  • Prepare lesson plans, materials, and assessments in line with curriculum standards.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to curriculum development.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school-wide initiatives.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student well-being.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A recognized qualification in teaching (QTS, PGCE) or status as a newly qualified teacher.
  • Demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching and the ability to inspire students.
  • Experience in delivering a comprehensive curriculum in Health and Social Care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, staff, and parents.
  • A proactive approach to student welfare and safeguarding.
