Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in Health and Social Care to a diverse range of students.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to enhance student learning.
- Prepare lesson plans, materials, and assessments in line with curriculum standards.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to curriculum development.
- Participate in departmental meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school-wide initiatives.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student well-being.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A recognized qualification in teaching (QTS, PGCE) or status as a newly qualified teacher.
- Demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching and the ability to inspire students.
- Experience in delivering a comprehensive curriculum in Health and Social Care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, staff, and parents.
- A proactive approach to student welfare and safeguarding.
