Vacancy - Commercial Vehicle Auction Account Manager - Hybrid

Our client is an established, and highly reputable leading provider of auction services, land agents and chartered surveying, serving customers principally in the UK, but also globally.

On their behalf, we are looking to engage with candidates for a Commercial Vehicle Auction Account Manager vacancy (Hybird)

Whilst account management is a intrinsic part of this role, business development is also a key component. We are looking to speak to candidates who have;

  • Experience in the commercial vehicle sector
  • Excellent communication and account management skills
  • Desire to seek out new business opportunities and convert them into sales
  • Attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Competent with IT, training will be given for in-house systems

The ideal candidate will be from a commercial vehicle remarketing background, however we are open to engaging with candidates from a vehicle fleet sales background who can demonstrate an excellent B2B sales career path. Someone who has the desire to seek out new opportunities whilst managing an existing client portfolio is a must. Someone who is equally comfortable closing a deal, arranging data reports or advising clients on market conditions. Gaining the trust and confidence of the customer through detailed account management, industry knowledge and
interpersonal skills.

The job

  • Assist in building on an established and highly successful Commercial Vehicle auction
  • Liaising with existing Fleet, Finance and Dealer clients
  • Sourcing new business in the LCV and HGV markets
  • Identifying opportunities to increase revenues from existing clients
  • Ensuring clients receive the highest levels of service
  • Produce reports from our in house auction system
  • Help buyers get the information they require regarding auction lots
  • Making all customers feel welcome and valued

Location

This is a hybrid role, but ideally the candidate needs to be based in Wales, West Midlands, Bristol, Gloucestershire, Staffordshire 'type' area.

The package

  • Salary dependent on experience/skills - ranging from £50,000 to £100,000 DOE including base salary and incentives. The salary really is going to be built around the candidate.
