Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the global FP&A function, overseeing a team of professionals across various regions.
  • Develop and implement the financial planning process, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.
  • Partner with executive leadership to drive business performance, cost management, and capital efficiency.
  • Lead the preparation and consolidation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range planning.
  • Provide in-depth analysis of financial results, key business drivers, and risks/opportunities to the executive team.
  • Develop comprehensive financial models to support business decisions, mergers & acquisitions, and investment planning.
  • Implement KPI and performance measurement frameworks to assess financial and operational performance across global business units.
  • Lead monthly and quarterly business reviews, providing insights into variances, trends, and recommendations for action.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to senior leaders across the business, providing financial guidance on new investments, growth initiatives, and market developments.
  • Collaborate closely with treasury, investor relations, and operations teams to ensure a holistic view of financial strategy.
  • Drive process improvement and efficiency in financial reporting, forecasting, and business analytics.
  • Leverage advanced data analytics tools and technologies to enhance decision-making processes.

Qualifications & Experience

  • ACCA, CIMA or ACA
  • Experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a large, complex, and multinational organisation
  • Energy/Manufacturing sector experience strongly preferred, especially in renewable energy or utility companies.
  • Proven track record of driving business performance and strategic decision-making through financial insights.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities with experience working in a matrixed global environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
