Head of FMCG Sales - Yorkshire/Hybrid - Up to £65,000

A leading retail company based in Yorkshire is seeking a Head of FMCG Sales to play a pivotal role in their ambitious growth plans. With a strong presence in the wellness industry and esteemed partnerships with major high street retailers this company is committed to exponential growth.They are looking for an experienced and passionate Head of FMCG Sales to help bring this vision to life.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and nurture existing customer relationships, with a primary focus on high street retailers and pharmacy wholesale accounts.
  • Foster new client relationships to expand the company's presence in the health and beauty sector.
  • Collaborate closely with the healthcare regional manager to oversee and enhance the pharmacy channel.
  • Identify opportunities for business development within the OTC health and beauty sector and promote the company's products and services.
  • Engage in strategic business development activities, particularly with grocery wholesale clients, to ensure continuous growth.

Location and Work Schedule:

  • Based in Yorkshire, with a central office location.
  • Standard work schedule includes 2 days per week in the office framework, with the remaining days having remote work flexibility.
  • Frequent travel within the region to meet with clients and partners is required.

Compensation Package:

  • Competitive salary of £65,000, inclusive of a car allowance.
  • Attractive performance-based bonus of approximately 20%.
  • 15% commission on top of the base salary.
  • 25 days of annual leave, inclusive of bank holidays.
  • Company pension plan.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Must have experience in a major grocery store that sells brand name products.
  • Experienced, energetic professional to manage and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment to drive profitable growth.
  • Previous experience in the healthcare, health and beauty, or pharmacy wholesale industry.
  • Demonstrated success in managing national accounts and driving growth within the sector.
  • Strong network of existing relationships with key clients.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic and evolving healthcare landscape.
  • Strong business acumen and a passion for contributing to the company's goal of doubling in size.
