A growing hospitality group, based in Richmond, are looking to recruit a Payroll Manager to join their organisation. Working in modern offices in South West London, you'll be working at a company which is looking to grow exponentially over the next 12 months within a finance team who really have a strong family culture but also look to push themselves and who want to be stretched and challenged every day.
What you'll need to succeed
You'll need the following experience:
- Experience overseeing payrolls of 500+ employees.
- Advanced Excel skills and meticulous attention to detail for accuracy
- Excellent communicator able to build cross-functional relationships
- Ability to prioritise, multitask and deliver under tight deadlines while staying motivated
- Personable and friendly character who will be a team player
- Highly motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a team to achieve results
- Detail oriented with excellent analytical, quantitative and investigative skills
- The ability to work accurately is essential in the role.
- Ability to work with changing priorities and time pressures
- A self-starter who takes a proactive approach
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Payroll
- Run Payroll for over 1500 employees
- Manage all relevant HMRC and pension submissions
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation
- Prepare quarterly calculations to check if we are compliant with the national living wage.
- Keep up to date with any changes in the legislation
- Liaise with our tronc advisors and action any points from the quarterly audits
- Assist with the month-end close process, including checking of employee expenses and reconciliation of employee credit cards
- Provide ad hoc analysis, as required
