Working for an international bank in their London City office, you will join an established trade finance function in a varied role with wide exposure to trade products and services. Your new role
In this role you will be a Trade Finance Manager in a dynamic and fast-paced banking environment. They cultivate and enhance trade finance products that encompass both import and export aspects. They also work on the development and promotion of the bank's trade finance products to clients in the UK and Asia. Further responsibilities include:

  • Promote the products and services offered by the bank to both existing and potential clients.
  • Engage in trade finance transactions between banks.
  • Create and sustain trade finance products that cover both import and export aspects.
  • Examine and dissect the trade finance markets and their products.
  • Deliver training on trade finance products and policies to the Corporate Banking department.
  • Assess and evolve the policies and procedures related to credit risk.
  • Stay informed and alert about market trends in the UK and international trade finance markets.
  • Implement and preserve credit risk management controls, systems, and procedures that satisfy the bank, regulators, and external auditors' requirements.
  • Support the Head of Corporate Banking and Head in accomplishing departmental objectives and providing business administrative assistance.
  • Supply management with information regularly and whenever necessary.

What you'll need to succeed

  • An education is preferred - degree / appropriate professional qualification level.
  • Minimum 3 years of trade finance sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of trade finance products, policies and product sales experience.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills

What you'll get in return
Up to £78,000 (dependent on experience), hybrid working environment and City of London-based office.
