Role: Sourcing Specialist - Buying/Procurement
06 months contract (Potential to be extended depending on the business requirement)
Site: Nailsea -(Hybrid work: 1 Day in a week Work from home)
Travelling local & Overseas: Frequency depending upon the business requirement
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08.00 - 17.00 / 37.5 Hours per week
Interview Stage: 1st round MS teams and 2nd round face to face
KEY JOB SPECIFIC SKILLS:
- Good understanding of main Procurement processes.
- Industry Legal Awareness
- Commercial Awareness
- Logistics procedures awareness
- Risk Assessment: Understanding of key supply- related commercial risks and areas of opportunity and able to lead project risk review process and assessments.
- PC Literate: Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
- Good understanding of site fabrication operations
- Technical Product Knowledge: Understanding of subsea production systems
- 5-10 years relevant experience in a Sourcing role
- Commercially and contractually aware with good communication, inter-personal and negotiation skills.
