Job Title: Graduate Acoustic Consultant

The Company:
Penguin Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for an Acoustic consultancy specialising in detailed architectural and mechanical services design, sound testing and noise surveys. The company also provide compliance services for BREEAM, Air Quality, and Air Tightness Testing. They are involved in a wide variety of projects from commercial, residential, and leisure.
Role responsibilities include:
- Collecting acoustical data and computer modelling, using CATT, Odeon, INSUL, Cadna/A, Revit, and other software modelling tools.
- Liaising with key professionals.
- Providing noise and vibration solutions, according to Building Regulations, Building Bulletins, and British and International Standards.
- Preparing accurate technical reports, according to company training.
Ideal candidate will need:
- A degree in either Acoustics or Physics. An Engineering degree, involving Acoustics modules, will also be considered.
- A motivated attitude and be able to learn quickly.
- An interest in coding and script writing.
- Experience using Acoustic modelling software (e.g., AutoCAD, Cadna).
- Keen to become a member of the Institute of Acoustics.
- UK driver's license.
