They are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Freelance Assistant Site Manager to support their site management team.
Your new role
As a Freelance Assistant Site Manager, you will assist the Site Manager in overseeing all on-site activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. You will play a vital role in coordinating subcontractors, managing site personnel, and maintaining project documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Site Manager in the day-to-day operations of construction sites.Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and site personnel as directed by the Site Manager.Help monitor project progress and maintain schedules to ensure timely completion.Support adherence to health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards are met.Assist in resolving any issues or conflicts that arise during construction.Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers.Maintain accurate site records and documentation.
What you'll need to succeed
SMSTS / First Aid / CSCS
Proven experience in a construction management role, preferably in residential construction.Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and best practices.Excellent organisational and time management skills.The ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in project management software and tools.Relevant certifications or qualifications in construction management or a related field.Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to various sites.
