Macildowie Recruitment is excited to be collaborating with a well-established business, currently looking for a Temporary Finance Accounts Administrator to support their finance team through a crucial systems integration project.

Job Title: Finance Accounts Administrator
Hourly Rate: Up to £13ph
Contract: 3 Months Temporary
Hybrid Working: Monday, Wednesday and one floating office day with 2 days from home

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Transfer: Perform bulk uploads and manual data entry, ensuring the accuracy of master data for Group suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Quality Control: Conduct thorough checks on submitted data, verifying approvals, and challenge any discrepancies to maintain high standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Share the workload and work closely with your team to support each other in achieving accurate and timely results.
  • Compliance: Safeguard the accuracy of data related to subcontractor insurances and schemes, ensuring full compliance with company policies.
  • Process Control: Ensure all accounts administration data is entered accurately and meets deadlines.
  • Reporting: Provide ad hoc reports and analysis as needed.
  • Team Support: Step in to cover day-to-day activities during team absences due to sickness or holidays.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • A motivational team player who thrives on working with others to achieve great results.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • IT savvy, with strong skills in MS Excel - and if you know your way around VLOOKUPS, pivot tables, and other advanced Excel functions, even better!
  • Able to juggle multiple tasks, meet tight deadlines, and work accurately under pressure.
