Job Purpose
- Overseeing onsite audit assignments from planning to completion, working alongside Audit Manager and RI (50% of the role)
- Preparation of statutory accounts for partnerships and sole traders
- Preparation of corporation tax computations
- Reviewing VAT returns for limited companies and groups
- Communicating clearly and effectively at all levels to progress assignments and resolve queries
- Supervising junior staff, including review working and delivering training
- Building trusted client relationships, acting as their main point of contact to proactively handle queries
- Championing your own professional development, undertaking training opportunities where possible
- Working directly with Managers to ensure expectations, deadlines, and budgets are always met

The Successful Applicant
- ACA / ACCA / QBE qualified, part qualified, studying or with a desire to begin study
- Demonstrable experience within UK practice
- Proven track record of overseeing audits from planning to completion
- A hands-on team player who can also work autonomously
- Excellent work ethic, self-motivated, and reliable
- Exceptional communication skills and keen eye for detail
- Able to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and third parties
- Good awareness of current affairs and solid commercial acumen
- A can-do attitude and a proactive problem solver
- Ability to work well under pressure
