Position: Senior Care Assistant
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / 30 to 36 hours per week
Hourly rate: £12.42
Shift times: 8am to 2pm / 2pm to 8pm / 8am to 8pm

Role Overview:
We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our dedicated team. In this vital role, you will provide hands-on care to our residents while also taking on leadership responsibilities to ensure that the highest standards of care are maintained throughout the home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering high-quality care to residents, including assistance with personal care, mobility, and daily activities.
  • Leading and supporting the care team, ensuring that all staff are providing consistent, compassionate care.
  • Administering medications and ensuring accurate record-keeping in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Building positive relationships with residents, their families, and external healthcare professionals.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
  • Promoting a safe and welcoming environment within the home.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a care assistant role, preferably within an elderly care setting.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent qualification).
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and mentor junior staff.
  • A caring, patient, and empathetic nature, with a genuine passion for elderly care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliability, with a strong sense of responsibility and professionalism.
