About the Role:
In this role, you will collaborate with the Inclusion team, as well as the broader school community, by taking charge of the engagement and education of students identified with social, emotional, mental health, and behavioural needs. Your key responsibilities will encompass:
- Providing one-on-one or small group support to students, both inside and outside of regular classes.
- Assisting staff members in cultivating an effective and secure learning environment, managing disruptive behaviour, and offering coaching and peer support for the development of behaviour management strategies.
- Collaborating with teachers to assess individual children's needs, implement Individual Behaviour Plans, and monitor their usage and effectiveness.
- Keeping track of the progress of all identified students and applying necessary interventions.
- Actively promoting the safety and well-being of our children and young people.
Pay Rate: £85 to £95 per day
This role is set to begin in September.
To be eligible for this role, you should have:
- A high-level degree.
- An Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional reference checks (which can be initiated through Tradewind, with DBS cost refundable after 20 days of work with us).
- An up to date CV which covers 10 years.
- The legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
