Management Accountant
- Salary: £45,000 - £52,000 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to become part of a thriving business in the Logistics sector. Based at the prestigious Head Office in Cheshire, you will be at the heart of the action, working closely with the Finance Director. This role is ideal for a confident, driven, and articulate accountant looking to embark on an exciting journey with a rapidly expanding and vibrant organisation.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions as part of Financial Accounts Management.
- Assist the Finance Controller with prepayments, accruals, and bank reconciliations.
- Efficiently manage Accounts Payable and Receivable processes.
- Craft detailed financial reports and conduct insightful analyses for Financial Reporting.
- Provide regular Cash Flow Reporting to keep stakeholders informed.
- Handle VAT returns and conduct thorough cash flow analysis.
- Maintain fiscal discipline by managing monthly expenses.
- Compile payroll reports for external payroll services.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Management Accountant or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in financial software and Excel.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- ACCA or CIMA qualified
