Are you looking for a new opportunity at a rapidly growing Fintech company? We are seeking an experienced Devops/Sysops Engineer with excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

The DevOps/SysOps Engineer will have a strong background in system administration, cloud infrastructure, automation, and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) processes. You will be responsible for maintaining and optimising our cloud-based infrastructure across the Retail and Hospitality division, ensuring the reliability and performance of our services, and supporting our development teams.

Additionally, you will play a crucial role in our ongoing migration from an on-premises data center to AWS. This involves managing the technical aspects of our AWS infrastructure, ensuring it is properly configured and secure, minimising service disruptions, and optimizing the new cloud environment for both performance and cost-efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience working in a DevOps environment supporting AWS infrastructure.
  • Previous experience in system administration before transitioning to cloud technologies.
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and services.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for container management and orchestration.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools.
  • Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash and PowerShell.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Teraform).
  • Knowledge of DNS, load balancers, firewalls, VPNs, and cloud networking.
  • Expertise in managing Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, Amazon Linux) and Windows Server environments.
  • Proficient in automation and configuration management using tools like Ansible and Pulseway.
