Role: Shop Manager
Location: Hertford
Hours: Part Time - 9am to 5pm, 30 hours across 4 days (will include some Saturdays)
Salary: £13.13 an hour, weekly pay (pro-rota)
Our client is a charity organisation, seeking an experienced individual within Retail / Fashion industry, on a Temporary basis, with the opportunity to go permanent.
Duties of a Shop Manager:
- Oversee and manage the Assistant Manager and team of volunteers
- Ensure income and profit maximisation through maximising donations
- Maximise sign-ups for retail Gift Aid
- Control shop expenditure in line with budget
- Plan workload for the team on a daily basis
- Ensure that trading standard regulations are adhered to
What we would like from you:
- Previous experience within Retail
- Previous experience managing a team
- Understanding of stock management
- Strong communication skills
- Highly organised
- Creative - visual merchandising
- Available immediately
