Hays Education are seeking an experienced and passionate SEN Teacher to join a dedicated team at a Special Educational Needs school in Coventry. This full-time role involves all standard classroom responsibilities, including planning and marking, while providing tailored education for students with diverse learning needs. The school offers both primary and secondary provisions, so the successful candidate could be placed in any class depending on experience and preference.
Contract: Full-Time (Part-Time Considered for the Right Candidate)
Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality, engaging lessons tailored to the needs of pupils with SEN.
- Develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) for students.
- Manage classroom activities, behavior, and resources effectively.
- Work collaboratively with support staff, parents, and external agencies.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents and senior staff.
- Create an inclusive and positive learning environment that fosters growth and development.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate instruction.
- A flexible and compassionate approach to teaching.
- Commitment to planning, marking, and full classroom responsibilities.

Pay: £150.00-£223.90 per day
