Position; Stock Controller
Location; Oxford
Salary; £15 per hour
Planet Recruitment are proud to be working with our well-established client in Oxford area who are seeking a temporary Stock Controller on a 3-month contract basis.
Main responsibilities;
- Embed best practice of stock control across the team.
- Co-ordinate & execute all picking activity and deliver stock accurately to workshop, working closely with materials management department.
- Participate and contribute to team meetings in a positive manner.
- Ensure parcel deliveries have accurate Proof of Deliveries
- Undertake pro-active Perpetual Inventory counting and resolve queries promptly.
- Liaise with Procurement colleagues to maximise efficiencies and resolve inbound & outbound queries.
- Develop and implement new procedures to enhance efficiencies and embrace D365 practices.
- Operate MHE in safe and careful manner.
- Ensure Microsoft Dynamics 365 stock records match physical stock with above 98% accuracy at item level.
- Operate to 5S standards and principles.
Required;
- Familiar with manufacturing, automotive or engineering operations.
- Demonstrable ability to undertake precise tasks with a minimum of errors.
- Deep understanding of stock control with track record to support.
- Track record of implementing operational enhancements in a logistics environment.
- Deep understanding of inbound, middle bound and outbound warehouse processes.
- Embrace close knit team working philosophy.
- Degree holder preferred
