Marketing Manager

Our client is a leading and award-winning professional services business, the provide automated finance solutions and products for customers all over the world and work with some of the world's largest brands. They seek a commercially aware Marketing Manager to oversee all marketing activities within the company. They are headquartered in the South of the UK and some office-based work will be needed monthly so looking for candidates who are based in the South of the UK.

You will oversee all marketing activities within the Company. You will be responsible for leading a team of four (including yourself) for crafting and executing strategies, managing budgets, and setting goals for marketing teams to ensure consistent brand messaging, analyses customer behaviour, identify market expansion opportunities and boost brand and product awareness and profitability.

Main Duties

  • Build, deploy and manage marketing via a comprehensive marketing plan with key objectives as Lead Gen (MQL), Brand Awareness & Content Creation.
  • Craft and implement strategies for the Marketing Team, including Digital, Advertising, Communications and Events.
  • Translate technical details into benefits for users / clients / partners alike.
  • Design branding, positioning, and impact pricing strategies on a global scale.
  • Ensure brand message is strong and consistent across all channels and marketing efforts.
  • Analyse consumer, partner and market behaviours and determine customer personas.
  • Identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share.
  • Monitor competition (acquisitions, pricing changes and new products and features).
  • Coordinate sales and marketing efforts to boost brand awareness.
  • Exhibit at various conferences: nationally and internationally.
  • Participate in the quarterly and annual planning of company objectives.
  • Set, monitor, and report on team goals.
  • Prepare and manage budgets for the Marketing department.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Motivation and determination to succeed.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to set and prioritise goals and to lead by example.
  • Excellent organisation, with great attention to detail and the ability to manage your workload effectively and multitask as required.
  • Work experience as a Marketing Manager, preferably within the professional services industry
  • Experience running successful marketing campaigns.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, collaborating between clients, project teams and sales.
  • Ability to manage stakeholders' expectations.
  • A team player who is comfortable working in a close-knit team and building strong professional relationships internally and with clients.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid knowledge of web analytics and Google AdWords.
  • Experience with CRM software.
  • Degree in Marketing or relevant field (preferable, not essential).
