HR Advisor - Projects

TYNE & WEAR (Ref 650) 12 months FTC (hopefully made permanent)

£35k - £40k + Private Medical Insurance + benefits

We are thrilled to announce our partnership with a rapidly expanding UK-wide service business located in the North East. With a strong emphasis on prioritising their people over profit, this business is dedicated to providing opportunities and development, and in doing so need the support of an HR Advisor dedicated to managing a range of projects.

Reporting to the HR Manager, who is fabulous by the way, this role is hugely varied and includes:

  • HR Policies & Procedures updates to then roll out to managers
  • Work with Heads of Departments to create a skills matrix and highlight skills gaps
  • Improve appraisal systems with the support of external providers
  • Research and implement wellbeing initiatives
  • Improve the HR induction
  • Working with hiring managers, evaluate recruitment methods and make suggestions for improvements
  • Pick up ER casework when needed
  • Salary benchmarking to include overall benefits

What you need to be successful in this role:

  • An HR background at HR Advisor level or above
  • Super organised with the ability to juggle tasks
  • Tenacious and resilient
  • A good sense of humour!
