Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the FP&A function, providing insightful analysis, and partnering with cross-functional teams to drive business performance. Key Responsibilities

The main duties for this Financial Planning and Analysis Manager role are:

  • Lead the development and execution of the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Provide strategic financial analysis and insights to support decision-making at both operational and executive levels.
  • Collaborate with department heads to create and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics.
  • Conduct variance analysis and identify areas for improvement, efficiency gains, and cost optimisation.
  • Prepare and present regular financial reports to senior management, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Drive the implementation and enhancement of financial planning systems and tools.
  • Support strategic initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, and other ad-hoc projects as required.

Key Requirements

  • A recognised Accountancy qualification - ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
  • Proven experience in a similar FP&A role
  • Strong analytical and modelling skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial planning software.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
