Role and Responsibilities:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be an essential part of our educational team, providing vital support to students and teachers. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting teachers in the planning and delivery of lessons.
  • Providing one-on-one and small group support to students, particularly those with additional learning needs.
  • Helping to create and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Supporting students in developing their literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
  • Assisting with classroom management and promoting positive behavior.
  • Helping to prepare and organize teaching materials and resources.
  • Monitoring and recording student progress and providing feedback to teachers.
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student development.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting.

Desirable:

  • Relevant qualifications in education or child development.
