A diligent Warehouse Assistant is required for a substantial role in a fast-paced FMCG environment. You will be mainly responsible for coordinating inventory control, processing orders, and ensuring smooth operations in their logistics department.
Description
The Warehouse Assistant duties and responsibilities are:
- Assist in managing the inventory by coordinating with various departments
- Process orders and ensure their timely delivery
- Coordinate with suppliers and transport companies
- Oversee the loading and unloading of goods
- Maintain accurate documentation of logistical activities
- Adhere to health and safety regulations within the warehouse
- Participate in regular stock takes
- Contribute to team efforts and logistics department objectives
- Make some deliveries to local sites
Profile
A successful Warehouse Assistant should have:
- Experience in a warehouse or distribution operation
- Proficient knowledge in inventory software and databases
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
