About the role
- Reviewing drawings, researching materials and sourcing the options, labour, and permit costs for the project.
- Working closely with contractors, subcontractors and vendors to get appropriate estimates.
- Provide high level pricing information for optioneering and budgeting exercises to ensure the most cost-effective solution offered.
- Negotiating with multiple suppliers and specialist subcontractors.
- Preparing submission documents.
- Understand associated mechanical services.
What we expect from you
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, plumbing and heating etc.
- Be able to work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Good organisational skills and ability to manage a workload.
- Be able to work collaboratively as part of a team, promoting good relationships and a friendly working environment.
