I have a unique opportunity for an Embedded Electronics Engineer to join a leader in the design and development of electro-mechanical products at their site in West Oxfordshire.
Reporting to the R&D Manager, you will responsible for developing and maintaining a competent engineering infrastructure and capability. Together with the R&D Manager you will be responsible for contributing to larger projects whilst maintaining your own objectives.
You should follow a product design over its complete lifecycle, from conception to production and finally through to disposal. Lastly supporting with NPI and assist with any defects and failures found in the field.
Knowledge/ skills required:
- Analogue and digital circuit design
- Embedded processor design & firmware.
- Thorough understanding of EMC/EMI Concepts
- Linear and switched mode power supply interface design.
- R&D experience including existing and new product design, development and implementation.
- Proven track record of product implementation from concept to volume production (In-house and out-sourced)
- PCB Design, Schematic capture and Layout
This position would provide a starting basic salary of £45,000-£50,000 depending on experience level, plus a competitive benefits package & a hybrid working policy.
