Job Title: Solution Architect
Rate: £600 per day (Outside IR35)
Location: Swindon (1 day a week in the office)
About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect to join our dynamic team within a prestigious national charity. In this role, you will leverage your extensive experience in analysis and design across various technology stacks and industry verticals. Your deep understanding of cloud computing, preferably with Microsoft Azure, your familiarity with TOGAF and Business Central will be crucial. You will be responsible for leading projects from an architectural perspective, ensuring appropriate governance and proactive project planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analysis and Design: Develop solutions across diverse technology stacks and industry verticals.
- Cloud Computing: Apply principles of cloud computing with practical experience in public cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure.
- Architecture Methodologies: Utilize TOGAF or other architecture development methodologies to suit business needs.
- Enterprise Architecture: Use Archimate or similar taxonomies to describe Enterprise Architecture structures and behaviours.
- Project Leadership: Lead projects from an architectural standpoint, ensuring decisions follow appropriate governance and proactively guide the project plan.
- Business Modelling: Conduct business modelling and requirements gathering in complex software projects, articulating messages through appropriate models and notations.
- Solution Definition: Define and implement solutions using SOA, Event Driven, Micro-Service architectures, and migrate legacy solutions to a cloud-first approach (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
- Microsoft Technologies: Experience with Microsoft Dynamics - Business Central, Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Azure (especially Azure Integration Services), and Microsoft 365 is advantageous.
- Cloud Components: Design solutions using cloud components and configure integrated COTS solutions.
- Communication: Present technical solutions to non-technical audiences effectively.
