Role Overview

We're looking for a Cleaner to support our client's site in Aberdeen

At OCS, our cleaners play an important part in providing safe, clean environments in which our customers can thrive in their workspaces.

You will be carrying out a range of cleaning activities including mopping, sweeping, dusting, emptying bins and cleaning washrooms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Completion of daily cleaning tasks
  • Managing Staff
  • Completion wages
  • Completion site stores
  • Completion of holiday forms
  • Completion of new start forms
  • Completion of H&S book

Project Planning

  • Planning work in a way which ensures that key milestones and completion of cleaning, are kept to a high standard
  • Identifying issues which may impact on the site , delivery and finding solutions to address these

Resource Management

  • Ensuring an efficient flow of materials to all projects
  • Effectively managing sub-contractor performance
  • Ensuring that projects have the optimum labour on site at all times, utilising agency labour where required

People Management

  • Leading and motivating the team
  • Ensuring that all employees have the appropriate PPE/training to fulfil their role
  • Employees Photo ID .
  • Regularly reviewing the performance of all employees on both a formal and informal basis
  • Effectively managing employee performance, including taking disciplinary action where appropriate
  • Managing absence

About You:

  • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
  • Must have full Baseline security clearance
  • Organisation skills / Prioritise
  • Personal credibility
  • Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
