About the Role
As a Food Technology Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Food Technology to students of different age groups. You will plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the unique needs of each child.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver a diverse and engaging curriculum that caters to the abilities of all students.
- Inspire a love of food and cooking and educate students about nutrition and food science.
- Assess, track, and report on the students' progress and development.
- Participate in and organise school events and cooking competitions.
About You
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Degree in Food Technology, Nutrition, Home Economics or a related field.
- Experience in teaching Food Technology is essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
