Role Overview: Imperium Financial Recruitment is seeking an experienced and driven Corporate Recovery Insolvency Practitioner for a well-established firm in North Manchester. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of knowledge in corporate recovery and insolvency, playing a pivotal role in managing complex cases and driving the firm's success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a diverse portfolio of corporate recovery and insolvency cases, including administrations, liquidations, and voluntary arrangements.
  • Conduct detailed financial investigations to assess the viability of distressed companies and develop strategic recovery plans.
  • Lead the preparation and presentation of comprehensive reports for creditors, regulatory bodies, and courts.
  • Facilitate creditors' meetings, providing clear updates on case progress and proposed actions.
  • Develop and implement strategies for the realization of assets and repayment of creditors.
  • Ensure compliance with insolvency legislation and internal procedures, maintaining high standards of practice.
  • Liaise with stakeholders including creditors, directors, solicitors, and accountants to manage expectations and provide expert guidance.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
  • Contribute to business development activities, identifying and pursuing new opportunities to enhance the firm's growth.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Licensed Insolvency Practitioner (IP) status is essential.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in corporate recovery and insolvency.
  • Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CPI, or JIEB are highly desirable.
  • In-depth knowledge of insolvency law, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proven track record of managing complex insolvency cases effectively.
