£28k - £35k depending on experience

Lloyd Recruitment is pleased to be working with a small construction company on the outskirts of East Grinstead in search of an experienced Office Manager to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling phone calls, greeting clients, and managing mail
  • Scheduling and organising the Director's appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements
  • Communicating effectively with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to manage project timelines and expectations
  • Overseeing daily office operations, maintaining office supplies, and ensuring the workplace is tidy and functional
  • Assisting the Director and team with administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and document preparation
  • Managing invoices, processing expenses, and coordinating with the accounting department
  • Supporting project managers in tracking project milestones and deadlines, ensuring timely completion
  • Assisting with onboarding new employees and maintaining personnel records
  • Helping with the preparation of marketing materials and maintaining the company's social media presence
  • Ensuring the office adheres to health and safety regulations, conducting regular checks, and maintaining records

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in an administrative or office management role
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK drivers' licence and own vehicle - due to location
