Fabricators and Welders Needed!
Location: Burton Latimer
Hours:
Monday - Thursday: 08:00 AM - 16:30 PM
Friday: 08:00 AM - 15:30 PM
Monday - Thursday (Late Shift): 14:00 PM - 00:00 AM (38 hours per week)
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Pay Rate: Up to £15.50 per hour (dependent on experience)
Are you an experienced Fabricator/Welder seeking a new challenge? Quest Employment has an exciting opportunity with our client based in Burton Latimer. Join their dynamic team and contribute to producing high-quality products using your fabrication and welding skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate extruded and folded materials, performing MIG or TIG welding processes.
- Interpret specifications, drawings, and instructions to ensure accurate production.
- Cut, punch, and fold materials to precise specifications.
- Prepare welded components for finishing processes such as painting.
- Use hand tools and undergo training to enhance product knowledge.
- Support inspections to verify setup accuracy and quality.
- Maintain a proactive approach to error reporting and process improvement.

Required Experience:
- Minimum 12 months in a busy weld production environment preferred.
- Level 2 BTEC / NVQ in welding or equivalent qualification.
- Familiarity with engineering processes and use of measuring equipment.
- Competence in reading engineering drawings for accurate part production.
