Maintenance Assistant

8am - 4pm

We are currently looking for an experience Maintenance Assistant to undertake General Maintenance across a large facility in Edinburgh.
Main Duties of a Maintenance Assistant will be undertaking Planned and Reactive Maintenance within your skillset.
- Liaise with suppliers to minimise costs whilst keeping good value
- Assist other skilled trades in carrying out maintenance, repairs, testing, inspection and installation work.
- Where instructed, carry out minor repairs to the building fabric to ensure the safety and security of the client's premises, staff and visitors.
- Respond in a safe manner to the effects of bad weather, e.g. Snow clearing, gritting, flooding, high winds, etc.
- Undertake training to maintain and develop the requirements of the service.
- Liaise and undertake duties at other sites in my portfolio.
- Ensure Health and Safety policies are followed across all sites.
- Liaise with and maintain good working relationship with clients
