About the Role: Career Teachers is seeking a passionate and dedicated Modern Foreign Languages Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Derby city centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to teach French, German, and Spanish to students at Key Stages 3 and 4 on a short-term basis, starting immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons in French, German, and Spanish to KS3 and KS4 students.
  • Develop and implement creative lesson plans that cater to a diverse range of learning styles and abilities.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for language learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the overall success of the Modern Foreign Languages department.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching French, German, and Spanish at KS3 and KS4 levels.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for languages.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to start immediately and commit to the short-term contract.
