Property Claims Technician

Recruit Insure have exciting opportunity and we are looking for a Property Claims Technician who is eager to advance their career in the Loss Adjusting field. This role will be based in there office in Cork, Ireland.

The Opportunity: This role offers the chance to work closely with experienced Loss Adjusters, providing a clear pathway toward becoming a Loss Adjuster. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll play a vital role in the Support team, focusing on boosting the region's efficiency and productivity in handling commercial claims. You'll also handle claims directly while receiving mentorship and guidance from seasoned professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer new claims, including receiving instructions, issuing acknowledgments, setting up files, and performing risk screening and triaging.
  • Assist Adjusters with investigation and validation inquiries.
  • Manage the lifecycle of claims, supporting proactive file management from start to finish.
  • Oversee Adjuster caseloads during periods of absence.
  • Liaise with insured parties, insurers, brokers, and other stakeholders to ensure top-tier customer service, becoming the point of contact when necessary.
  • Assist in the production of technical reports in line with professional standards and deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with time reporting, billing, and internal procedures.
  • Develop and manage performance and data integrity reports for internal use and clients.
  • Support compliance with company policies on technical, operational, financial, and data security standards.
  • Provide account management support as needed.
  • Assist with the preparation of client and business presentations.
  • Attend client review meetings as required.
  • Participate in projects and assist with ad hoc tasks as necessary.
  • Handle incoming phone calls and resolve queries.

About You - Skills and Qualifications:

  • You should either hold or be working toward a CILA/III qualification.
  • APA/CIP qualifications are beneficial but not required.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage your workload independently.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and pride in producing high-quality work.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to convey information clearly and concisely.
  • Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Motivated to meet and exceed targets.
  • Flexible and willing to travel as needed.
