Senior Housing Project Manager

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Manager looking to develop, lead and manage a Housing Improvement Programme, and be responsible for the shaping, planning and delivery of the council's transformation projects.

Your Role as a Senior Project Manager:

  • To develop a Housing Improvement Programme that will:

-provide excellent services and high quality homes for residents.
-Review readiness for the new Consumer Standards, in response to the findings of an external review.
-Provide oversight of the response to complying with the Building Safety Act and Fire Safety Act.

  • Lead on improvement over all Consumer Standards areas, especially regarding the 'Safety & Quality Standard'.
  • Enable and support the improvement of services, reviewing and making changes to the policies, procedures, data, performance management and assurance frameworks.
  • Service the newly formed programme board and programme management team.
  • Develop a delivery plan and lead on the monitoring of delivery of the plan. Ensuring projects and programmes are delivered in line with project and programme management frameworks.

Your previous experience as a Senior Project Manager:

  • Proven track record of translating the strategic vision and priorities of senior managers into deliverable programmes & projects.
  • Experience in developing complex business cases effectively, to enable the making informed decisions and provide confident estimates of costs and benefits aligned to agreed objectives.
  • Advanced knowledge & practical, creative application range of recognised project methodologies (e.g Agile/MSP/PRINCE2).
  • Experience of identifying opportunities and developing solutions to complex programme and project issues, using your own experience, and valuing the expertise around you.
