Interaction has partnered up with a well-established agricultural service based near Kings Lynn. My client is looking for skilled agricultural engineer to join the team. This is a workshop & mobile position, performing maintenance and repairs on tractors and other agricultural machinery. This is a great for someone with a background in agriculture, ex-military or heavy plant engineering.
(Commutable from Peterborough, Kings Lynn, March, Huntingdon, Ely, Norwich)
The Role:
- Service, maintain and repair a range of agricultural machinery
- Carry out routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on all makes of agricultural machinery
- Both Electrical and Mechanical maintenance (Fault finding, planned maintenance)
- Working with Hydraulics and Pneumatics
- Ensure work is completed and relevant compliance is filled out (job cards, service sheets, etc)
- Work as a team to complete inspections
- Follow Health and Safety to comply with legislation and company procedures
The Candidate:
- Hold relevant qualifications – NVQ Level 3 or equivalents (HGV Mechanics, agricultural, heavy plant)
- Minimum 2 years working in a similar position
- A full UK driving license must be held
- The ability to work using your own initiative and as a team
- A keen eye for detail
