Our client, a leading logistics company, is seeking a Parcel Sorter to join their team on a temporary-to-permanent basis. ?? Location: Basildon
?? Contract Type: Temp to Perm
? Working Pattern: Full Time
? Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 6am-2pm
Key Responsibilities:
?? Sort and organise parcels and packages accurately and efficiently
?? Ensure that all items are correctly labelled and documented
?? Track and record inventory using numeracy and literacy skills
?? Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations
?? Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
?? Maintain a clean and tidy workspace
Requirements:
? Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately under pressure
? Excellent numeracy and literacy skills are essential
? Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
? Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
? Ability to adapt to changing work demands and prioritise tasks
? Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and work on your feet for extended periods
