Responsibilities:

  • Act as device/process expert in support of all design teams. Closely collaborate with design, technology, and operations teams to ensure the successful delivery of design solutions.
  • Expertly interface among OED Engineering teams (including Process Technology, PDK Development, Quality) and Product Groups and Sales/Marketing to ensure smooth New Product Introduction to Ramp execution.
  • Support and guide product design teams on process technology options, power device layout/usage best practices as well as general design support activities.
  • Work with product design and layout engineers on DRC reviews, layout checks and other process verifications for successful tape out of products.
  • Work closely with quality and product engineers to address and resolve process related yield, quality and manufacturing issues.
  • Drive internal and external manufacturing organizations to ensure required quality and on-time delivery.
  • Contribute to assigned process definition, documentation, management, and continual improvement to align with key stakeholders' needs and requirements.
  • Work independently in cross-functional and international (US, Europe, Asia) teams.

To be considered you will need the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, function-related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years experience in the semiconductor industry as a process/device engineer and/or a foundry interface engineer, including dealing with foundries on various process technologies.
  • Expertise and experience in devices and process technology, preferably for integrated high voltage and/or power.
  • Understanding of common analog power management circuit blocks and able to converse with design teams on this
  • Good written and verbal communication skills for various audiences (designers, foundries, management) and ability to coach and mentor junior engineers.
  • Master's or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering or other function-related discipline.
