Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Management Accountant to oversee their financial management processes. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in a commercial environment and will be responsible for providing strategic financial insights to support business decision-making. This role demands a proactive individual with strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of commercial finance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Develop, monitor, and report on key financial performance indicators.
- Collaborate with various departments to provide financial insights and support strategic planning initiatives.
- Conduct detailed variance analysis and present findings to senior management.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing reliable financial projections.
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems.
- Support the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors as required.
- Mentor and develop junior finance staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications:
- Full professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organisation.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Experience with ERP systems is highly desirable.
